We say have a party, give a party or throw a party, NOT *do or *make.

√ I go out/ go clubbing every Saturday.
A party is a special celebration, usually at somebody’s house. If you want to mean that you go for a drink, or you go dancing, for example on a Friday or Saturday evening, you can just use go out. You can also say go clubbing if you go to a club/discotheque.

We use at (NOT *in) before parties, celebrations, or events in general: ‘There were hundreds of people at the conference.’ ‘She wasn’t at the wedding’
